Today we are going to know about the best and top e-learning platforms and portals in Nepal. Among them, some e-learning platforms provide free courses, and textbooks according to the Nepal curriculum, and Notes, and some of them provide subscription courses along with e-learning apps on mobile devices.
COVID-19 has introduced a completely new approach to the education sector – or rather expanded the existing ones. We had just started to get back to normal, but the second wave of COVID-19 hit the country hard. Continuous locking has complex issues for students, especially young people and students. Due to Covid-19, schools around the world were temporarily closed. This has brought the use of online learning platforms to brighter light. The world is slowly returning to its normal state with physical studies open as the days go by. But we cannot be sure that the new Covid-19 wave will never hit Nepal again. The new Covid-19 wave could mean more closures that could cause students to lose more study time. During the closure, schools tried their best to provide students with classes online. However, additional help to further the education of the youth is always welcome. So, with that in mind, we have compiled a list of the best Nepal platforms.
Before we start this list, we must state that the list is not ranked according to the best or worst. The list is compiled only for details and not for ranks. So, without further explanation about it, let us go into the list.

After you have successfully logged in, you can see a list of all available courses in the Topics menu. With a free account, the website now offers free courses such as Maths, Science, English, and Economics for Grade 10 students. We expect that more modules will soon enter the database.

Midas Class has its own collection of cartoon videos that make students’ reading experience fun. Similarly, if you don’t know about a topic, you can ask a question and get an answer, called “You Ask, We Answer.”Students can take questions on each topic and participate in discussions on each chapter with a dedicated tab. Similarly, you can ask for a set of questions, appear on them, and check the answers to see if they are correct. The registration process is also simple. Students can subscribe and access Midas Classroom content through their website or Android platform.
Mero School
Mero School is another e-learning phase in Nepal. The website offers a large list of educational options for students from general education to modern studies. It is an easy-to-use platform. In addition, the website offers more than just academic subjects; It also includes study materials for engineering majors, as well as the construction of drawings and graphics classes. Don’t forget, you can join the course only after you sign up for the site and subscribe to it. Like its previous platform, it also pays for the free content available on its platform. Its mobile app is also available for Android users.
Kullabs
Here, Kullabs is a place to share information with both teachers and students. Kullabs’ main goal is to make information accessible to everyone. With this goal in mind, the website is free for everyone and shares the best e-learning resources. Students from Grades 6 to 12 can enjoy the content available. Notes, recordings, exercises, and performance tests are available as part of the curriculum.
Additionally, you can use the Android app or website to gain access to reading materials. We think the platform has evolved a bit, but with a lot of extra lessons, it has the potential to create a spark in the industry.
FUSE CLASSROOM
Fuse Classroom is an AI-enabled learning platform. The platform is being developed by Fusemachines. The platform’s purpose is to help convert universities and colleges into online learning centers. The platform enables the use of AI for live classroom learning experiences, AI-enabled instruction, student progress tracking, and other AI features without all of this.AI is considered one of the best changes possible in the future. The use of AI in the field of education allows for the relief of not having to rely entirely on real-life teachers. This also allows for quick and responsive answers to students’ questions. As the earth slowly recovers to its normal state, and physical schools are opened, the use of these platforms may decrease. But we should always be aware of another wave of Covid-19, therefore, using these platforms may be useful in the future as well.
Learning Portals
E-Paath
E-Paath is a collection of different digital learning activities created by the Online Learning Exchange (OLE) Nepal. Speaking of OLE, it is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving educational efficiency and financial viability through technology. All content available on the website follows national study guidelines.
E-Paath is available in Nepali and English for students from Grades 1 to 8. That is not all. They translated the content of the lessons from classes 2 to 6 into the Chepang language again, which we applauded the whole group. We hope that other platforms can focus on E-Paath and prioritize other underprivileged communities as well. Each activity module includes a “lesson” section that helps students understand the lesson being taught. In addition, there is a “workout” section that tests students’ understanding of the subject. E-Paath uses multimedia-based tools that are easy to understand, but there are no visual lessons. To understand the content, students must focus on the images shown.
Pustakalya
If you are a serious student instead, OLE Nepal has a dedicated speaker for other people as well. E-Pustakalya is a free digital library focused on education. The platform includes books for adults and children in Nepali, English, and other languages, as well as books and materials for a variety of art forms. In addition, as with other sites, the materials are classified according to the national curriculum and include textbooks and teacher training materials. Similarly, E-Pustakalya can be also enjoyed on mobile devices on the Android platform with its dedicated app. Going forward, it has created a workplace where the internet is inaccessible, unreliable, or too expensive. E-Pustakalya can be installed on low-power servers such as those used in schools, colleges, and public libraries. If schools have a computer network, they can add an E-Pustakalya server to their setup and use it when they do not have internet or when their connectivity has low bandwidth. In addition, if schools do not have a dedicated computer network, E-Pustakalya will also help establish it. This website contains thousands of books, instructional videos, audiobooks, reference resources, and immersion apps.
