Starting February 9th, eSewa has implemented a new policy where a service fee will be charged for conducting more than two transactions per day from one eSewa account to another. According to a company representative, users can now transfer funds between eSewa accounts up to twice a day and up to 30 times a month for free. Any additional transactions will be charged a service fee of five rupees per transaction.
Previously, eSewa allowed free transfers between eSewa accounts, but the company has now introduced charges to limit excessive use of the service. In addition to this, eSewa also charges fees for other transactions.
The company plans to revise the service charge for eSewa to eSewa transfers in the near future, as they continue to monitor usage patterns and adjust their policies accordingly.
